Loli·GO

Getting set up

Loli·GO carries a boat's catch estimate to the seafood dock expecting it, and the dock's answer back. A dock enrols its vessels and authorizes the captains who run them, so there is no account to create here — but you can leave your number, and we will text you about getting set up.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to stop. See the Terms and the Privacy Policy.

What Loli·GO texts you

Two kinds of message, and you ask for each of them separately. There is no marketing, no promotions, and no third party sending anything through us.

Sign-in codes

Loli·GO has no password. You sign in by entering your own mobile number and the six-digit code we text back, so a code goes out once for each sign-in you ask for.

You enter that number yourself, on the sign-in screen of the app or the web, and tap Text Me a Code. Directly below the button, before you tap it, the screen reads:

By continuing you agree to receive sign-in codes from Loli·GO by text — one message each time you sign in. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to stop; STOP also stops the codes you sign in with.

The Terms and this Privacy Policy are linked beside it. A message looks like this:

Your Loli·GO sign-in code is 483920. It expires in 10 minutes. Never share it.

Landing and schedule updates

These are the ones about your own trip — a dock answering your advisory, a receiving time, a lane. They are off until you switch them on, they are never pre-ticked, and you can switch them off again at any time in the app. The box reads:

Text me landing and schedule updates from Loli·GO.

And under it, where you tick it:

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to stop.

If you gave that answer to your dispatcher at the counter or over the phone instead, they record it against your name on the same form, reading the same sentence back to you — the box there says They agree to get landing and schedule updates from Loli·GO by text. Either way it is your answer, it is stored as yours, and no number is ever ticked by default.

Who we text

Only people a dock has enrolled. Loli·GO has no public sign-up: a seafood dock adds the commercial fishing captains it buys from, and its own staff, by name and mobile number, and that is the only way an account comes to exist. Nobody is texted who was not enrolled and did not enter their own number to sign in.

This is why there is nothing to sign up for on this website, and why the app asks who you are before it shows you anything.

Stopping them

Reply STOP to any message and we stop texting that number. Reply HELP for help, or write to loli@loligo.app. You can also switch landing and schedule updates off in the app without stopping anything else.

Stopping messages stops sign-in codes too, which means you will not be able to sign in until you start them again by texting START to the same number. Message and data rates may apply, message frequency varies, and carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

What we do with your number

Your mobile number is your account, and it goes to our messaging carrier for the sole purpose of delivering the messages above. We do not share your number, your opt-in, or your consent to be texted with anyone for marketing or promotional purposes — not with third parties, and not with affiliates. The Privacy Policy says what else we hold and for how long; Terms §7 is the agreement itself.
